Important news regarding the 17th of June’s meet.

we have been invited to the shropshire vintage car clubs anniversary do. Some of you might remember we visited them last year for a bbq etc but it rained.

we will be meeting at the red barn at 7.30pm ( earlier than usual) and will be leaving at 8pm for bicton (same place as before) BBq again

Should be a good night as long as the weather behaves itself this time

Also need a someone to play billy no mates at the red barn incase anyone who isn’t coming along turns up for the normal meet, been getting a few newbies of late and it wouldn’t look too good if there is no one there (Jinx will be on hand for that one!)

This has been a great show previously and well worth a visit. We will be leaving the Red Barn at 9am on the saturday morning for those of you that want to cruise. It’s the best option if we want to camp together. Check out the club forum on VT3 for more information and to see who is going

DEVA DUB AND ROD JUNE 6,7,8th 2008

This years Deva dub and rods show is nearly upon us. Shrewsbury Showground 6. 7. 8 June. We had a great turnout last year and it would be great to equal if not better this. With this being our local show, they would appreciate our support We have a prelimery booking for 15 pitches in club camping at the moment but this can easily be increased to accommodate additional members.

Those of you that are coming need to pre book your tickets for club camping, tickets vary in price as below
FULL WEEKEND TICKETS Fri Sat Sun
Adult £17.50
Child 10/16 £7.50

TWO DAY TICKETS Sat Sun
Adult £12.50
Child 10/16 £ 5.00

NB these are advanced booking prices

If you can let Gaz know your requirements he will make the appropriate arrangements. He will need your cash a.s.a.p so he can be sure of enough space in club camping. Those that don’t pre book cannot be guaranteed a pitch with the club, although we will do our utmost to fit you in.

In return for a club camping area, the organisers have requested a themed club display of a minimum of 5 vehicles up to a maximum of 10 in the main show arena on the Sunday morning. We have an idea for the theme, which is not going to be published but discussed at the next meeting, Wednesday 7th May, and we have 5 vehicles at the moment confirmed. I know most won’t want to have to sort their vans early so at the moment we have 4 bugs and a karmen ghia for the display

THE BUS STOPOVER JUNE 14, 15th 2008

Following the success of the first 2 shows, the third stopover should prove another hit. This is a more low key event and is set to become a must do show.

Advanced tickets are available until 1st June 2008.

• Sunday Day Visitor £5
• Children under 16 Free
• Free Camping

Club camping is not available at this show so those that want to go let Gaz know so he can arrange a cruise there on the Saturday morning and also arrange the tickets.

Bustypes 18, 19, 20, April 2008

This show heralds the arrival of the new season and is always an excellent weekend. For those that want to come along a cruise will be organised for the friday and, if needed, on the saturday for those that are unable to manage the friday off work etc. The gates open at 12 noon and we are hopefull that an advance group will be there to save some space for a club camp.
